Website Redesign by TheeDigital Wins Platinum!

TheeDigital has done it again – We are very proud to share that our web design team has won not just one, but TWO, web design awards! The AVA Digital Awards recently announced their winners for the 2013 international awards competition and TheeDigital was mentioned twice. Our website design for Lizard Lick Towing won a Platinum Award.

There were 2,000+ entries from the United States, Canada and several other countries in the 2013 AVA competition. Only 14% of the entries won the Platinum Award (the organization’s top honor) and about 17% received Gold.

What Are the AVA Digital Awards?

The AVA Digital Awards is an international competition that recognizes outstanding work by creative professionals involved in the concept, direction, design and production of media that is part of the evolution of digital communication. Work ranges from audio and video production to developing websites that present interactive components such as video, animation, and blogs. Judges are industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the web design and digital media industry.

What Does It Take to Make an Award Winning Website?

While the two websites have very different audiences, they both had one thing in common: they needed to be user-friendly. TheeDigital designed and built these websites on a WordPress platform with custom plug-ins and integrations. In addition to being search engine optimized and user-friendly, the two new websites include dynamic social media integration, custom management tools (like member and sponsorship solutions), event calendars, and blogs.
