The holiday season has taken over TheeDigital! Thee stockings have been hung on the mantle with care and thee tree has been decorated with ornaments and lights.
TheeTeam is having fun celebrating the holidays this year. We’ve been busy decorating our office, playing “Secret Santa”, and eating delicious holiday treats.
We’ve also been busy spreading holiday cheer to the Raleigh branch of the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina with our food drive. We have all pitched in to help decrease hunger during the 2014 holiday season.
According to recent numbers from the USDA, there are 3.9 million American households that have food insecure adults and children – meaning they have limited or inconsistent access to safe and nutritious food. The insecurity surrounding food can be even harder during the holidays, as many children who receive free or reduced lunches, are not in school to receive their primary source of nutrition.
Our donations box, decorated with glittery blue wrapping paper and topped with a bow, is located in the lobby of our Raleigh web design office. While donations so far have come from TheeTeam, we welcome anyone who wishes to drop off food to help support those who need it most.
