We are growing our sales team and are moving our business to the next level. We help businesses increase their online presence through innovative website design, SEO, PPC advertising, and comprehensive digital marketing strategies.
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative to join our growing team. This entry-level role focuses exclusively on generating new business opportunities through proactive outreach and appointment setting. The ideal candidate is a local professional with experience in the web design and/or internet marketing industry who is passionate about helping local businesses and has a proven track record of success. Our goal is to train the right person to grow into a Digital Strategist who can eventually manage and close their own deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Make cold calls daily to generate new business leads
- Attend local networking events, trade shows, and industry conferences to establish connections
- Prospect, develop, and set appointments for qualified leads
- Create and send personalized email campaigns to prospects
- Schedule qualified appointments for the sales manager
- Maintain accurate records in our HubSpot CRM system
- Research and identify new potential clients and market opportunities
- Follow up consistently with prospects to nurture relationships
- Meet or exceed monthly appointment setting goals
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to refine outreach strategies
Qualifications
- Local to the Raleigh, NC area with knowledge of the local business community
- At least 1 year of sales experience; web design and/or internet marketing industry experience is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and resilience
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to explain properly why prospects should hire TheeDigital to develop money-making web properties for their business
- Ability to explain our development and ongoing internet marketing process technically and efficiently
- Good qualification skills and ability to say “NO” to unqualified prospects
- Basic knowledge of Google Docs, Sheets, Slides
- Proficiency with HubSpot CRM
- Comfortable making many phone calls daily
- Ability to represent the company professionally at networking events
- Ability to multi-task, be a solid team player, and help other employees improve their skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Sense of humor
