Mobilegeddon is alive! As of April 21st, Google’s search algorithm was updated to include mobile-friendliness as a ranking factor. This means that if your website can not adapt to mobile screen sizes and resolutions, you’ll see a big change in the SERP’s.
Google has also launched #MobileMadness to help prepare webmasters for the change. This monthlong campaign included a series of presentations, videos, office hours, tips and more – all to make the mobile-friendly transition smooth and easy.
