The Wig Industry is a growing, highly competitive market that includes behemoths such as wigs.com, wigoutlet.com other other established online wig retailers. Trying to compete with their notoriety, established organic rankings and towering advertising budget would certainly be a challenge.

There wasn’t any pressure to complete directly with these large retailers, but TheeDigital wanted to hit the ground running.

If we were going to going to steal market share from the bigger players, we would need to establish ourselves quickly, make an impression and keep our customers coming back.

In order establish ourselves quickly, we knew we couldn’t primarily focus on organic growth. We needed to utilize search advertising and shopping campaigns to get to the top of SERPs . There, we can mix in with the big companies and, with quality keyword research and precise targeting, we can slowly start to grow our sales.

Women’s Wig Shop did the easy part. They made an impression to its customers with high quality wigs and exceptional customer service. Repeat customers would be crucial to creating a strong base with which to grow.

To keep our customers coming back, we established retargeting campaigns that reached multiple platforms including the hottest Google campaign, Performance Max and utilized Shopify’s drip campaigns on users that didn’t complete the checkout process.
